CP Homecare Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect through the CP Homecare mobile app and the cpotb.com website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.

1.Who we are

CP Homecare is a home maintenance app, and cpotb.com is our website, both operated by Construction Partners of Florida, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy covers both the CP Homecare mobile app and the cpotb.com website. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email us at support@cpotb.com.

2.What we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work. That is:

Account information: your first name, last name, email address, and a password. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and we never see it in plain text.
A ZIP code you type. We use it to connect you with the right local contractor network. We do not collect your street address or your device's GPS or precise location, and the app never asks for them.
Your home profile: the equipment your home has (such as roof, HVAC, or water heater), the years items were installed, home characteristics you select (such as pool, well, or generator), and the year your home was built.
Documents, photos, and inventory items you choose to upload, such as insurance papers, warranties, and photos of what you own.
Sign in with Apple or Google (optional): if you use one of these to sign in, we receive the name and email address that service shares with you. For Apple, we also store a sign-in token so we can manage your session and disconnect it if you delete your account.
For contractors in our network: business contact information, including a business phone number, so homeowners can reach you.

3.Information collected through our website

Our website at cpotb.com offers two forms. Anything you enter in them is separate from your CP Homecare app account, and you do not need an app account to use them.

Homeowner waitlist: if you ask to be notified about CP Homecare, we collect your email address so we can let you know when it is available.
Contractor partner application: if you apply to join our contractor network, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, trade or service category, years in business, company website, and business address. We also collect your yes or no answers about whether you hold a Florida license, carry general liability insurance, and carry workers compensation insurance, and whether a license of yours has ever been revoked or suspended, along with a free text description of your business and how you heard about us. We use this information to evaluate you for membership in our contractor network.

These website form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, described in the section on who processes your data.

4.What we do not collect

Being clear about this matters to us:

No GPS or device location.
No analytics or behavioral tracking.
No advertising identifiers.
No cross-app tracking.
No marketing lists.

Your maintenance reminders are generated on your own device. They are not sent from our servers, so we do not collect push notification tokens.

5.How we use your information

We use your information to:

Run the app, including maintenance reminders tailored to your home, storage of your documents, and your home health score.
Authenticate you when you sign in.
Send transactional emails only, such as verification codes and password resets.

For information you submit through our website forms, we use your waitlist email only to contact you about CP Homecare, and we use your contractor application information only to evaluate your application to join our network. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for marketing beyond these purposes.

We do not send marketing email. We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6.Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of service providers, and each one processes your data only to provide its service to us:

Supabase for our database, authentication, and file storage.
Resend for delivery of transactional emails.
Apple and Google for sign-in, if you choose to use them.
Expo for app build and update infrastructure.
Web3Forms for receiving the submissions from our website forms and delivering them to us.

7.Business transfers

If Construction Partners of Florida, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or a sale of some or all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any successor that receives your information will be bound by this Privacy Policy, or we will notify you and give you the choices required by law before your information becomes subject to a materially different policy. Where the law gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, that choice will continue to be honored by any successor as required.

8.Security

Your data is protected with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and with strict access controls so that only you can access your documents and home information.

9.Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your data, including your uploaded documents. Deleted documents and inventory items are fully purged within 30 days.

10.Your choices and rights

You can access and update your information directly in the app, and you can delete your account in the app at any time. For anything else, contact us at support@cpotb.com.

11.Children

CP Homecare is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12.Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
